OVERVIEW
The REP Cambered Swiss Bar is the perfect addition to any gym. This multi-grip barbell is an incredibly versatile tool for strength training. The cambered design provides a greater range of motion, and the different grips target specific muscle groups. All handles on the bar take advantage of the camber, which means the weight is offset from your grip. This creates a pendulum effect, so you have to engage more muscles to stabilize the bar, creating a different stimulus than a traditional barbell. The outermost handle is also set at a deficit so you can pull the bar into a deeper range of motion.
Moderately knurled handles help with grip, especially on pull exercises. We took the classic, cambered design and made it even better. Our round tubing prevents any discomfort when the bar is loaded on your body. The removable eyebolt adds a level of versatility to your training and can be used as a cable attachment. Not to mention, our barbell fits standard clips, so you don't need to buy new ones. This is easily one of the best multi-grip barbells on the market.

PRODUCT FEATURES
-

REMOVABLE EYEBOLT
The added eyebolt allows our Cambered Swiss Bar to be used as a cable attachment. This is one of the only multi-grip barbells on the market with this functionality. -

THREE GRIPS
Our three grips have been thoughtfully placed to help relieve any shoulder discomfort and provide placement for more targeted muscle training . -

ROUND TUBING
Most competitors use square tubing because it’s easier to weld. We used round tubing because it makes for more comfortable loading on your chest and a better-quality bar. Not to mention our bar is a standard 45lbs. -

KNURLED HANDLES
Our knurled handles offer just the right amount of grip without being too aggressive, giving you a better hold during your workouts. -

HARD CHROME SLEEVES
Our hard chrome sleeves are not only a more premium material, but also more durable and were designed to fit standard clips. You won’t have to buy a specialty set to use our bar. -

RACKABLE
We added more space between the outermost handle and the collar so this bar is rackable on most setups.

FAQS
-
Why a Cambered Swiss Bar?
To spice up your routine! The grip variation gives your body a break from the standard positions. This can benefit overworked areas like the shoulders or be the change in muscle recruitment to blast through strength plateaus. This bar can also be used for a variety of movements like bench press, shoulder press, bent over rows, seal rows, bicep curls, skull crushers, lat pulldowns, and much more!
-
What is the difference between deficit and camber?
All handles on the bar take advantage of the camber, which means the weight is offset from your grip. This creates a pendulum effect, so you have to engage more muscles to stabilize the bar, driving a different stimulus than a traditional barbell. The outermost handle is also set at a deficit so you are able to pull the bar into a deeper range of motion.
-
How did REP decide on the positioning of the handles?
We went through multiple iterations and did our homework with this product. First, we reviewed existing products to determine strengths and weaknesses. We leveraged our engineering team’s knowledge and an experienced consumer review group to create the ultimate feel. We are confident that this bar has the best feel of any bar on the market, regardless of your size!
-
Why did REP use all round tube?
Using all round tube is not the easiest way to produce this bar, but it provides the best feel. Many bars utilize flat plate outer sections and when it hits you, it hurts! The round tube prevents point loading when the bar contacts your body. This means you can focus strictly on the motion and getting your best workout!
-
Why the camber?
The camber allows for a potentially deeper stretch or range of motion. As an example, using the widest grip for a bench press will result in the hands to lower farther than usual. But because the weight is not in line with the handle for the other hand positions, this creates a pendulum effect, which means that you have to work extra hard to stabilize. This combines the benefit of a flat Swiss (straight handles) and a football bar (angled handles). Our handle positions have been optimized to take advantage of the camber and give the bar a lot of different uses wrapped into one package.
-
How much weight can I fit on the bar?
You can load 810lbs of additional weight (aka nine Olympic, iron 45s per side). If you can also lift it, we'd be very impressed.
-
Do I need specialty collars?
Nope! Our bar fits standard collars!
-
Does the Cambered Swiss Bar come with a warranty?
Yes, the Cambered Swiss Bar comes with a five-year warranty.

I was deciding between the Rep bar and the Rogue MG-4CN bar. I selected the Rep version for a variety of reasons. Number one reason was ease of racking. The frame of the Rogue bar is 41" wide and barely fits into a Rep rack. I have a PR-5000 so this was a major consideration. Number two reason was the fact I simply didn't need to adjust the handles as the Rogue version offered. The handles on the Rep bar are exactly what i needed and their location/angles are excellent. Thirdly, the price. No way I was going to buy the Rogue bar with black sleeves, therefore their bar was priced ~$600 with stainless sleeves and a third set of handles included. No way I was going to pay that for a bar that barely fits into my rack. I don't regret the Rep purchase and have been pleased with the lifts I've done since owning it. There have been complaints about the knurling being passive on this bar - honestly, I don't see it. The grip is more than fine. I am also pleased about the sleeves - thank you for not going black. Overall, this bar is a great value and a wonderful add to my home gym.

Quality is great, knurling is awesome, and it does what some more expensive options do for a fraction of the cost

I can bench with this bar without any of the shoulder pain I have when I use a straight bar.

No Shoulder pain when benching from Torn labrum in shoulder! Couldn’t complete the movement with straight bar. Thanks

Welds are ugly but they are ugly on all the competitors too. I'm not a fan boy of any brand, I mostly just follow online reviews, so I bought this one. Reviews were not wrong. Great bar for the price. I often buy Rogue stuff because it's made in America, but this one is balanced better.
